An accommodation contract is made by the guest's reservation of a room (offer), as well as by the subsequent oral or written confirmation to offer the desired room (acceptance) by the provider of the accommodation. This accommodation contract not only obliges the hotel owner to provide a room, but also the guest to keep his/her promise to make use of the room. If this accommodation contract should be cancelled on the part of the guest because of "personal reasons”, he/she nevertheless has to pay the agreed-on price and/or cover the costs of non-fulfilment. The reservation is guaranteed by putting down a deposit payment as well as by the written confirmation acknowledging receipt of said down payment by the hotel owner. We recommend travel cancellation insurance. The cancellation fee is Eur 100,- (handling fee) for cancellations 3 month prior to arrival. Until 6 weeks prior to arrival it is 75% of the total cost. Until 3 weeks prior to arrival it is 90% of the total cost. Within 3 weeks before arrival it is the total cost minus consumations.
